For this position, the Payroll Processor is responsible for the following
Reviewing time reporting records for accuracy and ensuring proper approvals are received for time edits and timecard finalization.
Creating TimeSaver IDs for new team members and manage user access to ensure only authorized team members have access to make changes.
Reviewing user access files for terminated TMs and other changes in personnel and communicate to current process owner.
Managing weekly payments and ACHs related to benefits, stock options and 401K contributions
Managing weekly overtime reporting.
Calculating service technician efficiency pay and send to managers for review.
Processing and monitor garnishment orders and verifications of employment.
Processing manual payroll checks as needed.
Reconciling payroll balance sheet accounts
Processing payroll changes entered by HR in ADP.
Importing all payroll items including regular pay, service technician pay, expense reimbursements, commissions, bonuses, etc. into the payroll system.
Maintaining proper backup for all payroll entries.
Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.
Compiling weekly payroll submissions of commissions, bonuses, F&I comp, and other non-standard pay.
Multi-state payroll experience is a plus. ADP experience is preferred.

Tampa company is seeking a Director of Payroll!
Oversees all payroll activities for the company, consisting of the payroll processing and regulatory compliance. Implementation of federal, state, local and multi-jurisdictional payroll administration.
Provide payroll oversight, direction and leadership of payroll team for weekly and bi-weekly payrolls. Review employee changes in UltiPro system as needed for payroll processing. Process the monthly Boasso UK Payroll and special Bonus payments. Provide Accounting the weekly payroll GL files and reports for all domestics company payroll.
Payroll Taxes - oversee quarterly wage and tax reports in support of unemployment, 940/941 filings, annual W2/W-2C by payroll vendor. Set up new payroll tax account for all domestic company payrolls. Work with unemployment vendor on tax credit opportunities.
Adhoc payroll reports to Sr. Management on a weekly, monthly and annual basis. Includes: Workers Comp renewal/audits, budgeting, weekly overtime report, and various reports as needed. Provide Accounting accrual reports for monthly, quarterly and year end close.
Payroll due diligence for M &A or affiliate conversions as needed. TMW support for company driver pay. Misc. – Process monthly union Health Welfare and Pension payments for union. Special projects.
Supervises: Manager Payroll, Sr. Payroll Coordinator, Payroll Coordinators.
Responsible for making decisions on procedures, deadlines, employee pay, and driver advances. FLSA, state laws, garnishments enforcement, Holidays and PTO interpretations are sometimes necessary with the assistance of Human Resources
High School Diploma
Minimum 10+ years of Payroll and Leadership experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products helpful.
Knowledge of Wage and Labor laws, garnishments, Ultipro experience, Tax knowledge, data entry and spreadsheets. Good communication skills, written and verbal. Maintain confidentiality. Ability to deal with a variety of people. Ability to perform under the constant pressure and demand of a weekly deadline.
